Where can I get involved?
Find us in front of Wannop every Tuesday at lunch. We’d love to see you there! Our weekly meetings are held in a central location at school, making it easy for Year 10 students to drop by and join the fun. We set up in front of Wannop because it’s a spacious, open area where we can gather, strategize, and even run small practice drills before heading to the laser tag arena. If you’re unsure where to find us, just look for the group of enthusiastic students with laser tag vests and a passion for space exploration—we’re hard to miss! Bring your friends, grab a snack, and get ready to dive into the world of Azenian Lunar Operations.
Can students below Year 10 (Years 7, 8, 9) join in?
You’re welcome to learn and practice with us. However, only Year 10s can join the Year 10 Zone Celebration Excursion. We believe in inclusivity, so younger students are more than welcome to attend our Tuesday lunch sessions, participate in strategy discussions, and even try out some of our laser tag drills if we have the equipment available. It’s a great way for you to get a head start on developing your skills and preparing for when you reach Year 10. However, due to the nature of the excursion, which is a special event organized specifically for Year 10s as part of our school’s celebration program, only students in that year level can participate in the final event. Don’t worry, though—there’s plenty of fun to be had in the meantime!
When does the program end?
It wraps up on June 10th. So don’t miss out! Join us today! Our program is structured to run throughout the school term, giving you plenty of time to get involved, hone your skills, and prepare for the big excursion. The June 10th deadline marks the date of our final event—the Year 10 Zone Celebration Excursion—where we’ll take everything we’ve learned and put it into action in a professional laser tag arena. After that, we’ll take a break for the holidays, but we’re already planning to return next term with even more exciting activities.
